Mr. Ed has entered Prime Time!  See it Thursday at 7:30 on CBS.  In fact, CBS was the overall ratings winner from the 1962-1963 season.  The network had four of the top five and eight of the top ten popular shows according to the Nielsen ratings.  Of the top twenty-five shows, nineteen were on CBS.  The top five shows were The Beverly Hillbillies, Candid Camera, The Red Skelton Show, Bonanza, The Lucy Show, and The Andy Griffith Show.  Only Bonanza (NBC) was not a CBS show.  Most shows were still in black and white.
